I smoked my CCD Antenna!

As I was tuning my amp last night I did not pay attention and ended up smoking my CCD.  As you can see in the pictures it did quite a number on the little circut board, it looks like it was actually on fire.  Last thing I saw on the meter was approximately 1700 watts rms before everything went crazy. Whats really surprising is that with my AT-4K Palstar tuner I was able to tune out the remaining leg of the CCD and got a 59+20 from Mississippi.  This seems to have been the second circut board in the leg that gave out. I do not know the full extent of the damage and will attempt repairs this weekend. If there is any additional damage I will note it in this post.

It should be noted that at this point I am responsible for the damage and I still highly recommend this antenna. It works fantastic.

Is this what people mean by Fire in the Wire?
