I am using the MFJ 1918 for the tripod, Ok its not pretty but this thing Ph&%#$#$%King thing ROCKS, the receive on it is amazing and it tunes out nicely on 40 and 80, falls short on 160 and 30, the high bands do not work at all. I had a smaller Jennings Vac variable that I hit perfectly on the corner and it made that gut wrenching vacuum sucking sound and shattered. I am 3810 listening to Texas, and sitting right next to it and it smells like BBQ in here can't figure out whats burning.

Picked up my custom CNC'ed mounting brackets today. Antenna works great spoke with my buddy @N5SDO for a nice bit today on 7.195. BTW some of you may appreciate this, the knob on the Jennings is the channel selector from a DAK MK9 LOLOLOL. I know one of the brackets is missing a screw LOLOL.
