I have been licensed since 1980 as Ka2qej and a German call of DB0ABB, at one point I was the second youngest licensed ham in Germany.  Shortly after I came to the USA I joined the Navy and I was transferred to California , I upgraded to General class and got the call sign N6swu. I kept this call for many years and worked many DX stations with it. When I upgraded to Extra class ( I passed my 20 WPM) I figured it was time for a 1×2 call and applied for a vanity call, I was sent N6AQ. I plan on keeping this call since I have thousands of QSL cards for N6AQ, LOLOL.

I mostly enjoy Low Band stuff from 40 to 160 meter band, I like the bigger antennas it involves and the experimentation it requires to get an antenna working properly.  I was just awarded my WAC (worked all continents) for 3.5 Mhz. I am just a few away for my 5 Band WAC and my WAS (Worked all States) on 80 is next.
